What we fix

Scratched glass, polished back to clear

Scratches in glass usually come from construction work, cleaning with a scraper or razor blade, grit caught in a cloth, or everyday knocks. Glass doesn't wear out, so a scratched panel is often perfectly good glass with a damaged surface. That surface is what we repair.

Glass railings & stair railings

Deck, balcony, waterfront and interior stair railing panels, polished in place without taking the railing apart.

Glass canopies & awnings

Overhead glass over entries, patios and walkways, scratched during construction or roof work.

Windows & window walls

Large windows and window walls scratched during construction, renovation or window cleaning.

Shower doors & screens

Scratched glass shower doors and fixed shower screens restored, so you don't have to replace the whole enclosure.

Glass doors

Patio, entry and interior glass doors with scratches and scuffs across the panel.

New builds & deficiencies

Scratched glass on builder and property manager deficiency lists, repaired on site before handover.

Repair, don't replace

Why polish instead of replacing the glass?

Glass for railings, doors, showers and large windows is made to size, so a replacement panel is usually a custom order. That means a wait, a crew to take the old panel out and install the new one, and a bill far higher than a repair.

Polishing happens on site with the glass left where it is. There's nothing to order and nothing to reinstall, and the original panel stays in place.

Questions

Glass scratch removal FAQ

Can every scratch be polished out of glass?
Most scratches and scuffs can, including deep ones. Glass that is cracked or chipped through needs replacing instead. Send a photo and we'll tell you honestly whether polishing is the right fix before you spend anything.
What types of glass do you work on?
We polish scratches out of tempered, annealed and laminated glass, including railings, shower doors, glass doors and large windows.
Do you remove hard-water stains or etching?
No. Our glass work is scratch and scuff removal only. Hard-water etching and mineral buildup aren't something we offer.
How much does glass scratch removal cost?
It depends on how many panels are scratched, how deep the scratches are and where the glass is. It's usually a fraction of the cost of replacing the glass. Send photos through our estimate form and you'll get an upfront price before any work begins.
Is it messy? Do I need to move anything?
The work area is sealed off with protective sheeting before polishing starts, so dust and residue stay contained. We'll let you know ahead of time if anything near the glass should be moved.
Do you travel outside the Lower Mainland?
Yes. We're based in Surrey and busiest across the Lower Mainland, and we travel wherever the job is: Vancouver Island, the Interior, Northern BC, elsewhere in Canada and into the US.

We also repair tubs, tile, stone, countertops, window frames and floors. See all services
