What we fix

Damaged tubs and tile, restored where they are

Most tub and tile damage is on the surface: a dropped bottle, a tool slipping during a renovation, a corner knocked in transport, or years of wear. The tub or tile underneath is usually still sound, so there's no need to replace it.

Chipped bathtubs

Impact chips filled, shaped and refinished to blend in with the rest of the tub.

Cracks & holes

Cracks, holes and damaged edges in tubs repaired and refinished on site.

Shower trays & bases

Chipped or cracked shower trays repaired without taking the shower apart.

Full tub reglazing

Tubs that are worn or dull all over, reglazed to a clean, like-new surface.

Wall & floor tile

Chipped tiles repaired and colour-matched, so you don't have to hunt down a match. Whole tiled walls can be reglazed too.

New builds & deficiencies

Tubs and tile damaged during construction or delivery, repaired before install or handover.

Good fit for repair

  • Chips, cracks and holes in tubs and shower trays
  • Porcelain, enamel, acrylic and fibreglass tubs
  • Chipped wall or floor tile you can't easily replace or match
  • Brand-new tubs damaged before or during install

What replacing a tub usually involves

  • Cutting out the surrounding tile or surround
  • A plumber to disconnect and reconnect
  • Days without a working bathroom

How it works

From photo to finished tub

1

Send photos

Share a few photos of the damage and the tub or tile around it. You get an upfront price before any work begins.

2

Protect the room

On site, the area around the repair is masked off so fixtures, walls and floors stay clean.

3

Repair & refinish

The damage is filled and shaped, then refinished and colour-matched to the surrounding surface.

4

Ready to use

The area is cleaned up. The tub or shower is ready to use again about 4 hours after the work is done.

Repair, don't replace

Why repair a tub instead of replacing it?

A tub is built into the bathroom. Taking one out usually means removing the tile or surround around it, bringing in a plumber, and putting the walls back together afterwards. A small chip can turn into a full bathroom renovation.

A repair is done on site with everything left in place. The tub, the tile and the plumbing stay where they are, and the bathroom is back in use far sooner.

Questions

Tub & tile repair FAQ

Will I be able to see where the chip was?
The repair is shaped and colour-matched to the surrounding surface so it blends in. The before and after photos above show typical results. Send a photo of your damage and we'll tell you what to expect.
What's the difference between reglazing and chip repair?
Chip repair fixes one damaged spot and blends it into the existing finish. Reglazing refinishes the whole tub, or a whole tiled wall, when the surface is worn or dull overall. We'll recommend whichever makes sense for your tub.
What kinds of tubs do you work on?
Porcelain and enamel, acrylic and fibreglass tubs, as well as shower trays and bases. Not sure what yours is made of? A photo is usually enough for us to tell.
Can you repair a brand-new tub before it's installed?
Yes. Tubs and shower trays are often chipped in delivery or on site. Repairing them before install saves waiting on a replacement, and the corner in our before and after photos is one of those jobs.
How long before I can use the tub?
About 4 hours after the work is finished. We'll confirm the timing with you on the day.
How much does tub or tile repair cost?
It depends on the size and number of repairs and where the job is. It's usually a fraction of the cost of replacing the tub or retiling. Send photos through our estimate form and you'll get an upfront price before any work begins.
Do you travel outside the Lower Mainland?
Yes. We're based in Surrey and busiest across the Lower Mainland, and we travel wherever the job is: Vancouver Island, the Interior, Northern BC, elsewhere in Canada and into the US.

We also polish scratches out of glass and repair stone, countertops, window frames and floors. Glass scratch removal · All services
